Vantage Saves Lives
"Vantage saves lives. I can recall a recent case where a 999 call was dropped and there was real concern
for the caller. Using the caller history stored in Vantage I was able to locate
an address and dispatch police resources who found that the young girl had serious
cuts to her wrists in a suicide attempt. As a direct result she was traced and treated
in hospital.
I have experience of Vantage being similarly used in investigation
of violent domestic assaults where the caller has been disconnected and an address
traced through Vantage. All contacts count that is why we are so keen to ensure
they all get logged. From tracing witnesses, investigating crime and proving intelligence
associations the contact history is invaluable as it links a number of critical
pieces of information such as phone numbers , mobile numbers, names and addresses.
The integration with our STORM Command & Control system is also a feature and allows
us to logically progress a call through to efficient dispatch."
